Alex particularly
enjoys

analysts & database developers who are looking to make the
transition into freelancing or self employment & need help in
sharpening their communication & business skills.

Alex
brings over 10 years of business experience to his coaching
practice
having worked for some of the UK's largest telecommunications
organisations.
Alex
is a professionally
qualified Markeeter having
qualified through the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He holds a
degree in Economics & Marketing & a
Postgraduate Degree in Information Technology
Alex started his career in Glasgow working as Product Manager for Thus Plc
one of the UK's largest
alternative telecommunications companies. After 3 years at Thus
&
looking for a bigger challenge, Alex moved to London to work for Cable & Wireless
where he
successfully developed his career within the companies Global Markets
& UK divisions.
Most recently Alex has been working on a Freelance basis. Clients
include ntl:Telewest & Orange.
He
specialises in developing customer insight & customer retention
systems & processes.
Alex is a certified
Neuro Linguistic
Programming (NLP) Practitioner & is currently developing his
coaching
skills by completing professional coach training with CoachU,
one of
the world's largest and well established training organisations for
coaches.
Personal Interests
Outside of coaching,
Alex loves to keep
fit by training & participating in 10k road races and half
marathons. He has recently completed the Great North Run. Running to
raise money for Rainbows
which
is a Children's Hospice based in the East Midlands
Alex is also an award winning Public Speaker & is a VP of his local
Toastmasters
club in Reading.
Alex volunteers as a mentor to the Princes Trust. He helps young people
who have have struggled at school, have been in care or are long term
unemployed to develop new skills & greater confidence &
motivation.
When he gets the chance, Alex likes to visit family & friends
on
the Isle
of Arran where he
grew up.
